The Profile is separated into sections. The following will help you
understand each of the sections:
Sister Information: This is information about yourself, address and contact
information. Anytime you see an asterisk, this information is mandatory and
you will not be able to advance without completing that question. We do need
your birth year included in your birthdate.
Sisters Connect: This will help us keep in touch with you directly.
Formation and Vows: If you are still in the Candidacy stage, you will not be
required to fill in the rest of the information. This information will assist with
anniversaries and special events.
Language and Ethnicity: We want to be inclusive and if there are any
opportunities where we can connect sisters or help other sisters to expand
their language or cultural experiences, we want to make that happen. We are all
diverse in our backgrounds, languages and life experiences.
Citizenship: We have many diverse Congregations and members in the ADLA
whom we want to assist any way we can.
Education: We are expanding our Formation Programs within the OVR and we
might tap our sisters to help in areas of expertise.
Ministry and Apostolate: Many requests/questions come into our office from
sisters working in various ministry areas. We are often asked questions like:
How many sisters do you have working in Human Trafficking? At this point, we
don't have accurate data in order to respond.
Ministry History: This is one of the most important questions. We are
interested in which areas of ministry you have worked in during your time here
in the ADLA. This is a true snapshot of your ministry work over time. Start from
your most recent ministry experience and work backward.
Recommended Resources: We are interested in any recommendations you
have for therapists/counselors or spiritual advisors that we can share with
other sisters.
