Welcome

Welcome to the registration portal for the Rite of Election and the Call to Continuing Conversion. These liturgical moments represent essential rites within the process of the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA), in which the Church accompanies catechumens and baptized but uncatechized individuals on their journey of conversion, discipleship, and sacramental preparation.

The Rite of Election, described in the OCIA (nn. 119–137), marks the decisive step in which the Church, in God’s name, publicly recognizes the disposition and readiness of the catechumens to receive the sacraments of Christian Initiation. This rite expresses God’s choice and the responsibility of the ecclesial community to support them with prayer and as a living testimony.

The Rite of the Call to Continuing Conversion, presented in the OCIA (nn. 454–472), is directed toward the baptized who seek to complete their initiation. Through it, the Church exhorts them to deepen their faith, renew their Christian commitment, and walk with greater dedication toward the celebration of the sacraments during the Lenten season.

In order to properly organize and celebrate these rites, each parish is invited to provide the information requested in this form. Your cooperation will allow for closer pastoral preparation and a liturgical celebration faithful to the spirit of OCIA, in which every candidate and catechumen is welcomed with dignity and authentic accompaniment.

We thank you in advance for your dedication to the ministry of Christian Initiation and your ongoing effort in the evangelizing mission of the Church.
